Do you ever feel like you're running in circles trying to meet endless expectations?
Society constantly throws ideas at us, what we should achieve, how we should look, even how we should feel. But here’s the thing: none of those external demands truly satisfy the most important part of us, our soul.
I’ve learned that satisfying my soul is my responsibility. And no one else can do it for me. For me, the magic lies in shifting my focus inward. That’s where the real work happens. And the most beautiful part? When you align with your soul, those inner changes reflect outwardly.
Everything in our world is a reflection of what we are, matching our vibrational frequency.
Being in harmony with your soul - or source, God, the universe, whatever resonates with you - is your natural state of being. You don’t need to chase or earn it. It’s already there, waiting for you to reconnect.
The Power of Looking Inward
It’s so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle, isn’t it? But every time I take a moment to pause and tune into my inner self, I’m reminded of what truly matters.
For me, this realization came after more than 50 years of following what society told me was “the right path.” I believed it and was just checking the boxes, not realizing how terribly disconnected I was from my true self. The moment I started focusing on my inner world, everything began to shift.
When you nurture your soul:
You feel lighter, freer, and more aligned.
Your outer world begins to mirror that inner harmony.
You realize that you are enough, just as you are.
How to Reconnect With Your Soul
Here are some of my practices to help you reconnect with your soul:
1. Quiet the Noise
Meditation, deep breathing, or even a silent walk in nature helps me to tune out the external chaos.
2. Practice Gratitude
I make it a habit to list a few things I’m grateful for every day. It’s a simple yet powerful way to align with the energy of abundance.
3. Listen to Your Intuition
Your inner voice always knows what’s right for you. Start by listening to it in small decisions and watch how it grows stronger.
Satisfying your soul is not egoistic, by the way. Your value for others increases when you are true to your soul's purpose.
