When it comes to the Law of Attraction, feeling good is our number one priority. That's what I've learned from Abraham Hicks, who taught me that when I focus on what makes me feel good, I align with what I want to manifest.


The Law of Attraction responds to your emotional vibration, so if you're focused on positive thoughts for at least 17 seconds, you're sending out a signal that attracts more positive experiences. It's that simple - feel good, and good things come to you.



The Law of Attraction’s 17-Second Rule


According to Abraham Hicks, the impact of the Law of Attraction can be amplified by focusing on a non-resistant, positive thought for just 17 seconds. And then repeat.


Here’s how it works:

  1. Choose a thought that makes you feel good—something uplifting or inspiring.

  2. Hold that thought for 17 seconds, and you’ll automatically set a vibration that aligns you with more positive experiences.

  3. For even more power, repeat this process 4 times, the magical 68 seconds. This small practice can create a major shift in how the Law of Attraction works in your life. It always works, you know? You have to direct it.

Our Experience with the Law of Attraction


For over a decade, we’ve been following Abraham Hicks and the teachings of the Law of Attraction. For many of those years, we even had the phrase Care Most About How You Feel on a letterbox (or lightbox, whatever you call it 😄) as a daily reminder to stay aligned with positive thoughts. It's such a small practice but it has transformed our lives and helped us make better decisions by prioritizing feeling good above all else.
